Bringing the Denver infosec community to the world! It’s hard to be social in a world locked down by disease. Let’s help each other stay inside the great indoors with a virtual conference! By helping to continue the hard work of keeping the community together during the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to do our part to foster the information security community while simultaneously providing attendees with interesting knowledge they can use personally or professionally. We will be supporting the local Colorado community by accepting donations for the Colorado COVID-19 Relief Fund. COVID-19 has affected huge sectors of everyday life, but many of us in the InfoSec community were fortunate enough to have employment that transitioned to remote work. While many folks around the nation are facing medical or financial hardships, our staff wanted to find a way we could give back to those in need. Our solution was through the creation of DerpCon 2020. We may not be able to be on the front lines with our doctors and first responders, but we can use our skill set by providing attendees with interesting knowledge they can use personally or professionally, while also helping towards a great cause.
