Depict’s digital art platform is doing for art what the iPhone/iPad/ iTunes did for music and the Amazon Kindle/Amazon.com did for books - securely distributing and monetizing digital content, and expanding the market on multiple platforms for the benefit of the creators. With Frame (depict.com/frame) we have built the world's first 4K display for digital art in the home. We work with distinct galleries, art institutions and artists to curate, distribute and monetize exclusive and limited edition digital art from emerging artists around the world. Our investors include Michael Baum, the founding CEO of Splunk, Jim Pallotta, early über investor and Celtics owner, and Bruce Gibney, early Paypal investor. The company was founded at MIT by engineers, entrepreneurs and art professionals. Shambhavi, Depict’s VP of Product led the team at Boeing that brought wifi into space for the first time. Kim, our CEO worked on the first consumer facing domestic carbon trading platform in China and is on the board of Recess.
