Martinizing® Cleaners is celebrating its 75th year of innovation & leadership within the dry cleaning industry. Our system was developed in 1949 when Henry Martin recognized that it was feasible for smaller, full service dry cleaning plants to provide quick service cost effectively.
Martinizing® Cleaners is part of Clean Brands, LLC, which operates 350 locations in seven countries including the U.S., Canada, Ecuador, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, and Peru. Martinizing Cleaners has been the leader in dry cleaning since 1949, standing as one of the internationally most recognized names in garment care.
Our commitment to sustainability is wide-spread. We use the World's only 100% non-toxic, environmentally friendly cleaning solvents in our dry cleaning process. We are truly the Future of Garment Care™.
Rinse is building the first and largest national (and global) brand in clothing care. We're taking on a massive consumer problem and creating a significantly better dry cleaning and laundry experience through the combination of "smart scheduling" and best-in-class quality, all supported by a strong technology backbone.
We launched in 2013 and are currently in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Chicago, Boston, New York, New Jersey, Austin, Dallas, and Seattle. We've grown at double-digit month-over-month rates since launch, have created a differentiated service our customers love, and have a model where the economics actually work.
Rinse is backed by a group of leading VCs and CEOs who see the massive potential in what we are doing and know we are the team to do it. We are looking for stars to join our team and can’t wait to hear from you.
The Simple Green® story began 50 years ago, long before "environmentally friendly" products were mandated by law. Bruce FaBrizio and his father developed a safer alternative to the toxic cleaners being used to remove tannic acid, a by-product of coffee roasting, from roasting machinery. It took three years to perfect the biodegradable, not-toxic, non-flammable, non-abrasive formula. After its initial success, Bruce began selling Simple Green to automotive and industrial customers in 55-gallon drums; which he delivered in his van, for use as a cleaner on equipment and floors.
In 1979, just as initial retail marketing efforts were beginning to pay off, Bruce's father passed away. Though devastated, Bruce persevered and through grit and determination was able to keep the business alive. In 1981 he gave his company the name it continues to carry — Sunshine Makers, Inc. Simple Green was then introduced nationally into several new markets including Hardware/Do It Yourself, automotive, consumer grocery & drug, GSA (government) and Club-Store classes of trade.
In the early 1990s, Bruce created the Environmental Technology Division within his company in order to define the cutting edge of cleaning solution tech and solidify his company's high standards for environmental responsibility. Today, millions of dollars have been spent to prove the safety and efficacy claims of Simple Green. Sunshine Makers, Inc. is still owned and operated by Bruce P. FaBrizio.
In 2025 Simple Green celebrated our 50 year anniversary. Original Simple Green and the entire family of Simple Green products are a part of everyday life in millions of homes, commercial and industrial sites, not only in the United States but all over the world. Sunshine Makers, Inc. has its headquarters in Huntington Beach, California, with satellite offices all over the world. Simple Green is proud to be an American company. Our products are manufactured in Garden Grove, California and Lawrenceville, Georgia.
