After spending 7 years in the insurance and financial services industry I have come to a conclusion that today's investor/saver has to become more financially educated than ever. I am the type of person that always searches for the truth in anything and sees beyond today's economic masks. I have a craving for authenticity and to lead others on a path of financial independence. Therefore, I know that today's consumer has a battle against them with their money. The battle consists of fees, inflation, under performing investments, lackluster stewardship, lack of education/transparency, and their money seems to be working for somebody else rather than working for them.
