Den Haag Lacrosse Information

Den Haag Lacrosse is the only lacrosse club in Den Haag in the Netherlands. Den Haag Lacrosse has two women's one men's and one youth team. Lacrosse is right here in the Hague Lacrosse is one of the biggest sports in Canada and played all over the United States. More and more countries in Europe are starting to play the sport known as ‘The fastest sport on two feet’. Not many people might know that even the Netherlands has their own Lacrosse league, with 10 women’s and 15 men’s teams in three divisions. Den Haag Lacrosse started in 2005 and has been in the top 3 of the league and is competing at the top level of the Netherlands. The women’s team has had players who also play for the Dutch national team and who have competed in the World and European championships. These girls have been coaching their team to the top level of Dutch lacrosse, but would also love to see a real coach for their Den Haag Lacrosse team. Since lacrosse is still in the starting phase in the Netherlands, all help is welcome. Both the women’s team and the three men’s teams have many expats on board. People from Canada, America, Sweden, Latvia, France, Germany and Japan all play the sport they love right here in the Hague. We play Monday and Wednesdays from 20:00-22:00 at soccerclub VUC at Het Kleine Loo 1 in the Hague. Just bring a mouthguard and we can borrow you all the other gear you need.
