Our mission is to equip Chicago community members with practical AI and digital literacy knowledge to better understand the promises and risks of AI. We aim to empower community members to confidently and responsibly participate in our AI-integrated society while protecting themselves from associated risks (e.g., privacy risks, deepfakes, scams). We are members of the Chicago Digital Equity Coalition and have received a generous grant from UChicago to conduct this work. We strive to: - Provide nonprofits serving communities at risk of digital exclusion with ready-to-use AI curriculum - Collaborate with nonprofits to co-create and integrate AI literacy resources into digital inclusion curriculum - Empower individuals to engage responsibly with an AI-driven society through workshops and trainings
