DeltaHacks Information

DeltaHacks is an annual student-run "hackathon for change" held in January at McMaster University. Our focus is to bring undergraduate students from a variety of backgrounds together for a common goal: to code for good. Using software, hardware or a combination of both, students will have the unique opportunity to bring all their amazing ideas to life with the plethora of resources we provide through our generous sponsors. The focus of the hackathon is to encourage students to combine programming knowledge with the intent to make something that has a positive impact on the world, encouraging them to align with tracks of impact such as energy and the environment, health and wellness, inequality and education. With over 800 students selected from the top Universities in Canada and industry leaders in attendance, each DeltaHacks is a unique experience designed for novices and experienced developers alike. Participants can expect a weekend full of collaboration, presentations, learning, amazing prices, and innovation with a side of pure awesome!
