ENERGO–PRO was founded in 1994 by a successful Czech entrepreneur Jaromír Tesař who is its sole owner. The company has specialized in energy generation, distribution and sales for the past 30 years. Today, we are the largest Czech investor in the hydropower sector, owning and operating 54 hydropower plants in 5 countries. From the Czech Republic we have expanded over time into Bulgaria, Georgia, Türkyie and Spain. Our expansion now continues in Latin America – including in Colombia and Brazil. The second pillar of our activities is the distribution and sale of electricity. In Bulgaria and Georgia, we distribute energy to more than 2.6 million customers. We are now the largest electricity distribution company in Georgia and the largest private hydropower producer in Bulgaria. We also engage in electricity trading.

JSC Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) is the sole Electricity Transmission System Operator . The company owns and operates 3419.68 km transmission lines and 43 substations all over the country. Transmission network is managed by the National Dispatch Center and its technical maintenance is provided by the 3 regional networks (Eastern, Western and Southern). GSE also manages the cross-border transmission lines interconnecting with the neighboring countries: Russia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) is a state owned LLC with operations in the areas of oil and gas transportation, engineering and construction. GOGC manages state interest in oil production contracts on the territory of Georgia, operatis national gas transmission grid and North-South Gas Transit Pipeline, coordinates rehabilitation process of the existing oil and gas transportation infrastructure and participates in the development of the regional transit routes to fully realize energy potential of Caspian and Black Sea basins.
