DEI Projects was founded in 1990 as an Electrical and Instrumentation Construction company to serve the Power Generation, Steel, Pulp and Paper, Petrochemical, and Mining Industries in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and Botswana. Following over 25 years of operation within the Southern African markets, the company has developed its offerings and now adds value to a range of industries, including, rail, mineral processing, communications, infrastructure, and renewable energies. DEI Projects is now also able to assist throughout the project lifecycle and specializes in power and automation solutions from procurement through to commissioning and maintenance, as well as in-house manufacturing capabilities for a range of power distribution and control panels. Over recent years, the company has grown beyond its start-up vision, and a recently negotiated deal which has seen DEI Projects become a 51% Black Owned company. Making the company one of the only transformed companies in the automation industries sector.
