def hacks() Information

def hacks() is a hackathon by high school students, for high school students. It was first run in March of 2015 (in partnership with a coding program called CSTUY) as an initiative for the SHE++ fellowship program. In October of 2015, it was held again, this time not associated with CSTUY and completely student-run. We are currently in the process of planning a March 2016 hackathon. The def hacks() movement is spreading across america, originally based in NYC, we have organizing teams in NY, NJ, and CA - each of which are establishing their own def hacks() high school hackathon.
