Real-world Excel files use visual layout (merged cells, multi-level headers, formatting cues) that gets lost in CSV dumps and “basic parsing,” which is exactly why RAG/agents often misread spreadsheets and produce wrong answers. DeepTable parses the spreadsheet’s semantic structure and outputs clean relational tables you can actually query (with traceability back to the original cell references). We support several workflows to connect spreadsheets to AI apps 1) Structured Sheets API Convert human-formatted .xlsx into structured tables and export to SQLite / Parquet / CSV for ingestion into your pipelines. 2) Queryable, auditable outputs Run SQL over extracted tables and keep cell-level traceability so every value can be tied back to its source cell. 3) Agent-native access (Skill/MCP) Plug spreadsheets into coding agents and agent frameworks so they can retrieve facts via structured queries instead of guessing. 4) Batch indexing for RAG Turn an entire drive of spreadsheets into searchable, structured datasets for your company chatbot, analytics, and automations. Since we output them as flat tables, they're easily chunkable.
