DeepForest.org Information

Land management and technology research organization based in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. Our work restores native ecology in damaged areas, adapts forests for climate change and wildfire risks, and leverages forests as a tool to capture and permanently sequester atmospheric carbon. We take a collaborative, open science approach to practicing, promoting, and partnering to develop scalable technology solutions for the next generation of forest management. We directly manage land, report experiment results, and contribute to related technology development efforts.
