Decern is an expert network dedicated to the transformation of agricultural and agri-food value chains. We connect investors, corporates and consulting firms with the specialists who carry the ground-truth intelligence their decisions depend on. Agricultural value chains are fragmented and complex by nature, shaped by local conditions, climate and policy. Whether the task is market monitoring, investment de-risking, benchmarking, resilience planning or vulnerability mapping, it requires specialists who know how these systems actually work. Generalist expert networks were not built for this. Keyword-matched profiles, light screening and automated scheduling often produce calls that start from zero and rarely reach the depth a real decision requires. Decern works differently. Our network is trust-chain referred, not self-selected: experts join through peer introduction, then are vetted by our own sector specialists. We pressure-test every brief, work with the same experts across engagements, and run each call through a pre-engagement compliance review (MNPI, conflicts of interest, GDPR).
