At DecentrARG Labs we are building Alternate Reality Games (ARGs) that use decentralized networks and blockchain technology as the medium for immersive entertainment and transmedia storytelling. We not only embrace the use of distributed technologies as the foundational architecture for web3 dApps in their various incarnations, whether it be for DeFi, art/media marketplaces, conventional video game assets, store of values, currencies, etc., but we also believe in it's use as the canvas for narratives that blur the lines between reality and fiction. Inspired by the ARG experiences that were developed during the infancy of the internet (Majestic, The Beast, etc.), we hope to expand the crypto and decentralized communities ideas of what is possible within the ever-expanding boundaries of these emerging technologies. As well as their ideas of what is real.
