Since 1985 Decap supplies to plumbing, heating, air conditioning and solar panel professionals solutions to make their work easy. Starting from a deep knowledge of the market, our company created and patented some different kinds of fluxes for soft soldering before launching our best seller product: Decagel Pincel, the first European flux for soft soldering in gel presentation. The growth of the company results were progressive and were based in a basic principle: develop our portfolio of products, always keeping our quality commitment with our products and with our customers. In 1998, Decap moved into our actual facilities in Gava. These facilities are shared between our central offices and our manufacturing and bottiling facilities for all our products: fluxes, soft soldering alloys, deoxidants, soldering rods, heat protection elements, auxiliary products for installations and repairing products. From the beginning, we always wanted to show our commitment with quality, obtaining third party quality certifications like: DVGW, ETA... In 2001, we achieved an important goal, getting the ISO 9001:2000 quality certification. This certification has been yearly renewed.
