Debunk.org is an independent technology think tank and NGO focused on analysing and countering foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI) to strengthen democratic resilience. We combine AI-driven analysis, investigative research, and media literacy to detect and expose coordinated influence operations across digital platforms. As a Trusted Flagger under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), we have, in under a year, contributed to the removal of nearly 6 million fraudulent social media ads. We are a member of FIMI-ISAC, a global network that addresses foreign information manipulation through shared intelligence and coordinated responses. We also lead capacity building efforts. Debunk.org authored FIMI 101, the first online course on analysing FIMI, and has trained nearly 1,000 professionals across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
