Deakin Medical Centre has operated as a two, three and as it is today a five doctor clinic. We are a teaching practice and therefore regularly take in medical students and GP registrars. Over the years we have had many students and registrars. Currently Dr. Prashanthi Godakumbura has been a registrar in our practice since 2009 with Dr. Janice Louey commencing at the beginning of 2011. We also support overseas trained doctors with Dr. Sri Kumaraswamy joining us late in 2010 having worked the previous 30 years in England.
