Deadwax Workshop Information

After more than 30 years as a record collector, I was running out of space. My vinyl deserved a proper home. I didn’t want my collection housed in mass-produced furniture, so I built my own. The experience of browsing albums front to back, like at my favorite record stores, was the inspiration for these designs. By combining a lifelong appreciation for vinyl with a love of woodworking, Deadwax took shape around mid-century modern principles, clean lines, and purpose driven design. What began as a personal solution grew naturally as friends and neighbors started asking for pieces of their own, turning Deadwax into a small business dedicated to handcrafted, elegant vinyl record storage for serious collectors.
