DE SANGOSSE (headquartered in Agen, France) innovates, develops, and markets solutions for plant protection and nutrition, as well as pest control. At DE SANGOSSE, we are committed to never forgetting where we come from. Our origins date back to 1926 with the creation of the family business B. de Sangosse in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne region. A major milestone in the company’s history was the MBO (management buyout) in 1989. This founding act, driven by the strong commitment of employees to the company’s new vision, enabled its expansion and brought real momentum for growth on a global scale. Today, we are proud to continue this development while remaining, above all, an independent, human-sized French mid-sized company (ETI), serving agriculture. The company’s growth is built on long-term, trust-based relationships with all stakeholders, including farmers, employees, distribution partners, professional advisors, and society as a whole. While sustainable development and innovation are key pillars at DE SANGOSSE, the company’s greatest asset is its people. Without the 835 employees worldwide, our corporate project would not exist. Among them, 348 work outside France in local companies acquired or established by the Group to support its external growth. Existing expertise has been preserved and sustained to ensure activities remain aligned with the needs and constraints of local markets. In France, the company employs 494 people, who hold nearly 75% of the company’s capital. The founding family holds 16%, and external shareholders 9%. This unique model guarantees the company’s independence and supports a long-term vision, with stable and sustainable strategic directions.
