De Jongerenraad adviseert Staatsbosbeheer gevraagd en ongevraagd over diverse vraagstukken. Daarvoor spreken de leden met belanghebbenden. Bijvoorbeeld door straatinterviews te houden of een wilderniscafé te organiseren. Hun adviezen aan de directeur van Staatsbosbeheer zijn creatief en divers van vorm. Van een filmpje tot een presentatie en van een rapport tot een productplan. Daarmee krijgt Staatsbosbeheer beter inzicht in hoe jongeren natuur beleven en betrokken zijn bij natuur.
