DE-Chem, LLC. was formed in 1990 by Tom Neal and Fermin Cobian to service and sell to the Poultry Industry on the Delmarva Peninsula of the Eastern Shore. Tom Neal has 35 years experience in the sales of poultry products for companies such as Wade Jones, Alpharma and Walco International. Fermin Cobian "Claudio" worked as a chemical engineer for 30 years in the oil business. When the two met they decided to form a company that not only sold products but also offered application services to ensure the products were applied correctly. They also realized growth in the application service as a significant number of growers were advanced in age or just didn't have the proper equipement for proper application. Initially starting with Insect control applications, after about 6 months we expanded into litter amendments and applications.
