DC127 Information

DC127 exists to strengthen and stabilize families impacted by the foster care system in Washington, DC by mobilizing the Church to provide wraparound support. Our vision is a DC where every child has a permanent, safe, and loving home. DC127 approaches foster care holistically, supporting families who are navigating challenges that could lead to separation through our Communities for Families program, as well as recruiting and supporting foster and kinship families through our Foster Care Support program. DC127 provides the trauma-informed training, ongoing care, and support of volunteers with the hope of disrupting cycles in the foster care system, one family at a time.
