DC DAO Information

DC DAO is a community-driven hub connecting builders, founders, policymakers, and institutions at the intersection of crypto, finance, and public policy in Washington, DC. We exist to make the DMV a serious place to build and discuss crypto, not just as a technology, but as economic and institutional infrastructure. DC DAO brings together people who care about how decentralized systems actually interact with regulation, governance, and real-world adoption. Through conferences like Crypto Capitol, technical meetups, builder sessions, and policy-adjacent conversations, we create space for honest dialogue between crypto-native teams, investors, regulators, and researchers. Our focus is practical: understanding risk, incentives, and long-term design beyond narratives and short-term hype. DC DAO is open, collaborative, and community-led. Whether you’re building protocols, shaping policy, investing in the space, or simply trying to understand where crypto is headed, DC DAO is where those conversations happen. The DC DAO was founded by community members that now serve as Stewards: Shailee Adinolfi, Monica Anschel, Gerald Gallagher, Brenda Loya, Thomas McCarthy, and Brian Nistler.
