DBtune’s Agentic AI for autonomous PostgreSQL optimization helps keep PostgreSQL operational, stable and optimized for high performance, while reducing repetitive database optimization work. DBtune transforms passive monitoring into proactive optimization across three key areas: - Server parameter tuning: Test PostgreSQL server parameter configurations against the workload and machine type and apply the best-performing settings automatically, or review changes first. - Index optimization: Identify and rank opportunities for new and existing indexes based on the workload, expected impact, cost and DDL. - Autovacuum monitoring: Identify where autovacuum is falling behind and help diagnose what is causing the problem. Together, these capabilities enable teams to deliver an exceptional user experience, free up capacity for strategic priorities and get more value from their existing infrastructure. DBtune is a Stanford University spin-off founded in 2021 by Dr. Luigi Nardi and headquartered in Malmö, Sweden.
