DBT Eastside Information

DBT Eastside is a collaborative group of independent therapists, using evidence based and skills based approaches in group therapy. Each independent therapist has been intensively trained in DBT through Behavioral Tech, LLC, founded by Marsha Linehan. DBT Eastside is recognized and listed on the Behavioral Tech website under DBT® Resources: Clinical Resource Directory. Participants will work through 4 modules of DBT skills: - Mindfulness - Distress Tolerance - Interpersonal Effectiveness - Emotional Regulation Parents/partners/caregivers will learn skills helpful in caring for family members with overwhelming emotions and learn effective ways to respond to risky / self harming behaviors like explosive anger, substance abuse and cutting.
