The DBL Solution is a line of medical and pharmaceutical bin liners developed to help combat the spread of nosocomial infections in hospitals, pharmacies, laboratories and medical facilities. The term nosocomial has become synonymous with hospital-acquired disease, but is meant to be any disease contracted as a direct result of medical care. Disposable Bin Liners, or DBL are meant to integrate into existing protocols to prevent the spread of MRSA and other agents by reducing the need to repeatedly clean bin and drawer surfaces. The bin liner, when placed in a clean bin or drawer provides a physical barrier. When used in conjunction with a program of regular replacement, bacteria, viruses, molds, spills and other contaminants are removed from the patient medication environment as well as other environments, where the unintentional spread of infection is created as medications and materials are transported to different environments. There are a variety of DBL’s available for patient cart drawers, pharmacy bins and automated dispensing machines. A full line of our products is available through Healthcare Logistics at www.healthcarelogistics.com in the United States, and at Pharma Systems at www.pharmasystems.com in Canada.
