Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal Pvt. Ltd., a Container Terminal operating at 8th Berth of V. O. Chidambaranar Port Authority – Tuticorin, commenced commercial operations during May 2014. DBGT being situated in an all-weather VOC Port - Tuticorin has the edge of strategically located closer to the main sea routes connecting East-West Trade Lanes. With higher number of sailings per week to Colombo from any Indian Port, and direct sailing to Male ,Far East and Chinese Ports is an added advantage to the EXIM Trade for faster and most competitive. Being served by all major container lines, DBGT always prefers to be more customer-focus and trade reliant. DBGT is honored to thank the Trade fraternity for bolstering us with their continuous support to surpass the feat of 4 million TEUs on 19th July 2024, since inception.
