D&B Foods Inc. began in 1980 when former Foster Farm's employees decided to go into business for themselves when they noticed a need to service small businesses. Tailoring distribution for their clients, (D&B) Dean & Brad, the founders, ran their operations out of an old station wagon. They quickly established a reputation of customer service that became legendary. Their business insight made them a major distributor, servicing over 300 notable restaurants, meat markets and other institutions throughout Southern California.
