I am Debbie Beaven, by profession an Accountant (FCMA, CGMA) with over 30 years in the C suite as FD and CFO, much of that time as the only woman in the Boardroom. Now with a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Centre for Coaching, I bring my coaching skills together with my experiences as a successful financial leader to support others to develop their executive careers. In our coaching sessions you will have time… time to explore your “self.” A “whole-person,” human-centric approach has always been at the heart of my leadership style. I believe that through compassion, empathy, integrity, and inclusivity I was respected as a caring, purposeful leader. With clarity of purpose and humanity, leaders can create the right psychologically safe conditions for individuals to explore, test, learn and grow, in turn improving organisational performance across financial and non-financial metrics. I take these values into my coaching approach. In a safe space I will encourage you to express your thoughts, explore what is “holding you back”, consider what you want to do next and support you in developing fresh perspectives that empower you for the next stage of your growth journey, but more importantly not to judge yourself too harshly.
