DAWNING is an organization devoted to multimedia storytelling projects rooted in rigorous social science research. We specialize in difficult-to-access communities across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Our mission at DAWNING is to create world-class knowledge pieces that humanize complex global issues. Mixing the power of social science, investigative journalism, and the visual arts, we bring you high-quality evidence from the frontlines of the social and environmental challenges of our time. Our nimble interdisciplinary team has worked for years to build partnerships that allow us to work all over the world and get to the heart of things, no matter where the plane lands. We care as much about the rigor of our findings as we do about the way we communicate. Our work is crafted to be insightful for specialists but accessible to all who can read and see.
