For over thirty years the National Foundation for Australian Women (NFAW) has set the agenda for women's issues nationally and given weight to the collective voice of Australian women. Our mission is to advance the status of Australian women through: - Social and economic policy analysis; - Honouring and recognising the achievements of Australian women; and -Collaborating with other organisations that share our mission. Our objectives are: 1. To ensure that the aims and ideals of the Women's Movement and its collective wisdom are handed on to new generations of women; 2. To advance and protect the interests of Australian women in all spheres, including intellectual, cultural, political, social, economic, legal, industrial and domestic spheres.
