Access Sacramento is the non-profit public access cable TV, radio and internet broadcaster serving Sacramento County. We can be seen on cable channel 17 & 18 on Comcast and Consolidated Communications, Channel 14 on AT&T U-verse and are live streaming from our homepage, www.AccessSacramento.org. Projects include cablecast and internet radio including our low-power FM radio station, KUBU 96.5 FM from downtown Sacramento, our "Place Called Sacramento" film festival showcasing Sacramento actors, crew and writers, and the 'Sacramento Has Talent" stage show. Our mission is to give voice to the thoughts, dream and cultural arts and community events that make Sacramento County such a wonderful place to live.
CreaTV San José is a nonprofit community media center that inspires, educates and connects San José communities, using media to foster civic engagement. We fulfill our mission by providing the training, tools, and platforms that allow diverse and often underrepresented communities to tell their stories and express their views through digital media.
Since 2008, CreaTV has aired more than 30,000 community videos in eight languages, helped hundreds of nonprofits tell their stories and served more than 20,000 youth and adults through our media making programs, DocuMentorMe and Summer Documentary Institute.
CreaTV manages Community 15, Classrooms 28 and Outlet 30, viewable on Comcast in San José and Campbell, and Bay Voice 27 in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. All our channels are available to stream on Roku, Apple TV and Fire TV, by downloading the Cablecast Streamweave app. Programming is also available via live stream and video on demand at www.creatvsj.org/video-demand#!/
