I am obsessed with travel: Meeting new people, seeing extraordinary new places and experiencing new cultures. And I want the same for you! My name is David Hoffmann. I am a travel host, producer and social media influencer. I started Davidsbeenhere.com because I believe that so much of what we are is influenced by where weve been in the world. Davids Been Here is a digital media company meant to supply plenty of travel inspiration and advice. To date, Ive hosted over 2,000 travel episodes across 6 continents. I am also a digital influencer who collaborates with travel and lifestyle brands that I think would resonate with my audiences. Ive been named as one of the Top 10 Best Travel Videographers by USA Today and Top 10 Travel Video Sites by OOAworld. Plans for the future include fueling your wanderlust one country at a time. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida to parents of Italian and Hungarian decent. From an early age I learned to embrace my familys diverse cultures and traditions, which eventually lead to curiosity about other countries, and ultimately to my love affair with planning my own solo adventures around the world. Ive always been attracted to destinations that arent on everyones bucket list. During my high school and college years, I found myself traveling abroad during every break, visiting friends and family. At the University of Miami, I was studying Entrepreneurship and working as a real estate agent full time. In the summer leading into my senior year, I decided that a 9 to 5 lifestyle wasnt my path. There was a whole world out there and I wasnt about to sit in an office for the rest of my life. That summer (2007) I created Davidsbeenhere.com and I hired my cinematographer, who traveled with me for the next ten years. After graduation in May 2008, we set out on a two-year adventure filming a staggering 500 episodes in 22 countries. The rest is history.
