David Hamilton Design Information

David Hamilton was born and raised in McKinleyville, California. He graduated from Humboldt State University in 2004 where he was known as the "volunteer doorman of Founder's Hall. Intent to remain in the area, he worked in a variety of fields, as a history tutor, hat embroiderer, tour guide, and drama teacher, but his primary love was the arts. In 2005, after having designed web sites for family and non-profit organizations, often pro bono, he began working as web master for the Blue Ox Millworks in Eureka. Over the course of two years, he increased their web traffic by 1700% and brought in visitors online from over 115 countries. Emboldened by this success, he started taking on more clients and in February of 2007 launched his own official business. In the first year, the business expanded to twenty clients, with twelve new websites including a national award winning site for the Humboldt Rose Society. In his free time, David serves on the board of directors for North Coast Repertory Theatre and designs garments for his geek-themed store on Cafepress.
