The name "Datum" refers to the reference or reference line from which other measurements are made. Datum Systems Inc. is a wholly privately owned company that has been in business since 1986, and incorporated in 1995. Originally, Datum Systems designed modems and various communications gear as an OEM supplier for other companies. Many of our first modems were shipped with another company’s name on it. In 1996, however, Datum Systems began focusing on its own Datum Systems brand name. Today over 90% of the equipment shipped carries the Datum Systems logo. We have great pride in our name and our reputation. Our goal is to design and manufacture the highest performing and most reliable equipment that money can buy.
