DATCO Pvt. Ltd formerly known as M/S DATCO, later on, DATCO Group is a renowned multi trading house which is pioneer in manpower export industry in Bangladesh, founded in early 1970s. Dr. Moosa Bin Shamsher, one of the world’s most illustrious business tycoons and a celebrated business personality is the founder and chairman of DATCO. Since its inception, DATCO has paved the way for the global expansion of Bangladesh's manpower export industry and has opened up numerous new markets including Middle East, East Asian nations, North Africa and Europe. Not only DATCO has been a harbinger of economic success for the nation and its people, it has also continually innovated and created benchmarks of service in the manpower export industry. DATCO has always been stepped into different sectors at different times including importing commodities, consulting and land holdings for four decades. At present, DATCO is stepping into new projects include IT and education consulting. Milestones: 1970’s- Founded the manpower export industry and opened Middle East countries for manpower export from Bangladesh. 1980’s- Formulated and created the association on manpower exporters 'BAIRA'. 1990’s- Recorded highest foreign currency inflow (as remittance) five years in a row. 2000’s- Opened Italy and East European countries for skilled manpower export.
