DataSwarm Predictive Analytics tracks what we call the "Zeitgeist" for any particular topic, and is useful for many applications. It highlights changes over time, relationships between subjects, and works as an early warning system for emerging trends, good and bad. We initially developed the system for a BBC News requirement to "find the Zeitgeist" in news story development. DataSwarm predictive analytics has since also been succesfully used for a number of other applications: - Election Prediction (we predicted Brexit and Trump, against the run of other predictions) - Changes in company fundamentals and competitive positioning - Marketing Insights, especially across multiple global markets - Price prediction of various asset classes and indices We won an Award in the 2019 IARPA (US Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity) Geoforecasting Challenge 2 where we had to predict a wide variety of geopolitical events in a competitive environment against other systems. We are thus confident that the system is effectiove, and also has a lot more useful applications than it has been used for to date. We are also continuously adding new matehmatical techniques to increase its capabilities, including Machine Learning and AI* We have also developed the DataSwarm Trading System, to allow investors to blend DataSwarm analysis of stock market behaviour, stock analysis and industry trends with more traditional market data. We have been succesfully trading in the US markets using the system since December 2019 with 56% return to date (Nov 2021) when we stopped rading temporarily to test and implement our new fully automated end to end trading system. *The term "AI" is abused these days. We are using AI techniques to solve certain bounded issues, not "General" AI
