Datamation Foundation Information

Datamation Foundation Charitable Trust is a non-profit, apolitical, non-partisan registered Charitable Trust, registered under the India Trust Act, 1950 having been registered by the officer of Sub-Registrar-I, District North Delhi, vide Trust Deed No. 3258 dated 22nd Feb, 2002) with its head office at Delhi. The Foundation has been actively engaged in advocating, designing and implementing innovative Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) enabled initiatives to help meet Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). We owe Datamation Foundation’s formation to the vision and un-abiding commitment for the poor and women of late Mrs. Vimla Sharma. Her concerns for the poor and marginalized Indian women prior to Independence and in the post-Independent India; rising inequality, marginalization of the poor and disadvantaged, helped us formulate our development strategy.
