The Data Value Hub (DVH) is an innovative organisation based in Ireland, that helps businesses to unlock the full potential of their data. The DVH provides a dedicated Technology and Data-based Digital Innovation facility for a wide range of enterprises across the North East region of Ireland. Its vision is to create a digital innovation facility that drives competitiveness for local enterprises through emerging technologies and data value exploitation. One of the key programmes at the DVH is the “AI Project Incubator” Programme. The programme works with North East companies to develop AI-based innovations and provides access to both in-house and leading technical resources and training. The programme covers topics such as the "AI Project Playbook," Cloud Computing, Big Data, infrastructure, Edge Computing, and more. The incubator has already produced successful projects, using Facial Recognition, Computer Vision, Data Analytics, and Optical Character Recognition. The DVH partners with several leading technology providers, including IMR, ICHEC, and Insight. This partnership model enables the Hub to advance a digital technology agenda, enabling capabilities such as AI, Edge Computing, Autonomous Things, and Data Analytics. One of the key benefits of working with the DVH is that it helps businesses to extract value from their data while ensuring that their privacy and data protection obligations are fully met. DVH is a consortium member of Factory X Change (FXC) which an innovative nationwide initiative that focuses on creating a collaborative and sustainable manufacturing ecosystem.
