Data School Information

Organisations, often unknowingly, carry a lot of interesting data that can provide them with refreshing insights. In order to extract this information one – or multiple – student teams can be put to work during Data School. Together with organisations, it is decided what questions will be researched, and what the end result should be (for example, in the shape of a network visualization). After this, the student teams start their research project under supervision. They also attend workshops in data analysis and data visualization, taught by experts in the field. At the end of the trajectory, the students will present their findings during a symposium at a Utrecht University location. The Data School philosophy is to form a bridge between education, science and the corporate environment. Data School offers organisations the opportunity to meet talented students with an innovative perspective on data research.
