Free Services for People In Need
Safetynet Children & Youth Charities supports local families in need through clothing, diapers, tutoring and music programs.
We rely on community donations to serve financially disadvantaged families. We accept donations of funds, clothing, shoes, coats, linens, and business suits. The best go to those in need and the rest is recycled to cover administrative costs, like the rent. Safetynet is a sustainable and eco-friendly charity with one committed paid staff member, Executive Director Bill Shields. We are also looking to add to our team of community volunteers (all ages & stages!).
Donated clothing can be dropped off at 226 Randall Street, Oakville ON.
Drop off hours are Monday through Friday 9:30am-6:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am-2:30pm.
Clothing can be picked up in Oakville, in most cases within 24 hours. For clothing pick up, please call us at 905-845-7233
