Darwin College approach to vocational education reflects an emphasis on the individual student’s ability to work independently and acquiring new skills while supported by an outstanding academic community and resources. As a student of Darwin College you will belong to an academic department or faculty which will provide your teaching, mentoring, and provide numerous resources to support your studies and getting you work ready. You will have an academic supervisor who will provide guidance and advice throughout your course. Your supervisor will help you to construct a program that allows you to optimise your individual intellectual capacity that is intertwined with your career goals. Where possible your academic supervisor will not change for the duration of your course, however it may be necessary to assign a new academic supervisor before registration or during your course of study or for reasons which might include sabbatical leave, maternity leave or change in employment.
