Darwalla Group is the largest family owned & Queensland grown poultry producer, having started at Mt Cotton with 200 chickens over 90 years ago. Darwalla also own half of our largest customer, Golden Cockerel processing facility, also located at Mt Cotton. Darwalla has developed into an efficient, sustainable and highly specialized operation, directly employing around 180 fabulous people, plus supporting the employment of many more contractors and growers, plus those who work at the processing plants we supply. We are a fully integrated poultry producer with rearing, breeding, hatching and broiler facilities supported by our feed mill and office staff. Our focus on quality and adherence to RSPCA animal welfare standards ensures our chickens are health and happy.
