💜 I’m a social entrepreneur turned impact investor. I founded Daring Capital to back extraoradinary, overlooked founders who are building companies that also make the world a better place. Our focus is on early-stage ventures tackling supporting underserved communities and led by underrepresented founders. - We find extraordinary, purpose-led entrepreneurs - Secure them investment from our community of investors - Support them to grow In the first 18 months of operating, we have invested over £1.9m into purpose-driven start-ups. We refurbish second-hand bikes to refugees in London and Birmingham. We grew to £2.5m ARR and we have given away over 11,000 bikes and supported many more refugees through our other programmes. We have won several awards including The European Union Social Innovation competition and The best charity at the National Lottery Awards. I personally won the Lloyds Banking Group Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015. ⭐ I'm on the social investment committees for two large foundations and I have previously been on the boards of several charities.
