Beyond research to thought leadership that shapes industry and global perspectives to lead the professions forward. The SAF was designed to be different. Our strategic integration of disciplines, impact-driven research, co-op and experiential education, and entrepreneurial spirit has made us one of the most relevant, connected, and innovative schools for financial professionals in the world. By encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration, we cultivate unique perspectives and technical skillsets that create value through analysis, foresight, and funding. Our people and partners take us beyond the technical, to integrate the fields of accounting and finance through rigorous analysis, keen foresight and courageous decision-making. The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within our Indigenous Initiatives Office.

The Oxford Women in Physics society was founded to promote the career development of women in physics and to provide a welcoming support network for women in the department of physics at the University of Oxford. OxWIP aims to enhance the experience of women working in the department through increased interaction with peers, mentors, and role models.
