The story : Danvagt A / S was founded by Den Jyske Kontrolcentral A/S and Jens Brandt for lack of an alternative to the large group related security companies in Denmark. Den Jyske Kontrolcentral A/S co-founded , to ensure it's customers continue to choose an independent partner in the danish security industry and Jens Brandt because he missed his industry for almost 30 years and felt there was a need for a Danish owned nationwide security company. Meetings were held with some of the leading and most reputable small and medium size security companies, the model was discussed and adjusted so that there was support for Danvagt as a company. Den Jyske Kontrolcentral A/S sold its part of the shares to Jens Brandt, who then offered shares to the security companies that wanted to be part of the ownership group - and Danvagt A / S was a reality. The philosophy of Danvagt is to use the smaller and medium-sized local security compagnies with their unique local knowledge and their pride in the work, together with Danvagts quality management systems such as Danvagt Dispatch to unify the reported call-out and guard services. In this way the customer obtains the service and quality, which is one of the strenghts of the small and medium sized companies, and at the same time the advantage of uniformity as a large nationwide company can provide.
