İçişleri Bakanlığı / Ministry of Interior By constantly renovating itself according to the changing circumstances of the world both during the Ottoman Empire and the Republic, the Ministry of Interior which has a well rooted position in Turkey’s Public Administration system is one of the Ministries that undertook and successfully delivered some very important tasks in the life of the Turkish State and society. Our Ministry, which is responsible for; accomplishing homeland security and public order; ensuring public safety; managing the general administration of the provinces; overseeing the local administrations as the warden acting on behalf of the central authority and assisting these local authorities improve by means of the legal measures taken administratively; undertaking the civil registration and nationality proceedings and; deploying civil defense services in cases of possible wars and natural disasters, delivers these very important tasks through its central and provincial organizations.

Grand National Assembly of Turkey (Turkish Parliament) The Grand National Assembly of Turkey shall be composed of five hundred and fifty (550) deputies directly elected from 81 provinces and 85 electoral districts in total. As Article 87 of the Turkish Constitution, the duties and powers of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey have been stated as follows: · Enacting, amending and repealing laws, · Scrutinizing the Council of Ministers and ministers, · Authorizing the Council of Ministers to issue decrees with the force of law on certain matters, · Debating and adopting the Budget Bills and the Final Account Bills, · Deciding on issuing currency, · Deciding on the declaration of war, · Approving the ratification of international treaties, · Deciding on granting general amnesty and pardon, · Exercising the powers and carrying out the duties foreseen in the other articles of the Constitution.
