Daniel M. Elder PC Information

Daniel M. Elder PC was formed in July of 2010. Dan Elder, the owner of the fim, had previously been a shareholder with Matthews & Branscomb (1988-2004) where he served as the president of the firm from 2000 through 2004 when the firm combined with Cox Smith to create Cox Smith Matthews. Dan was a shareholder and member of the management team at Cox Smith Matthews. Dan left Cox Smith Matthews in July of 2010 to form his own law firm. John Fisch joined the firm in January 2011. John Fisch, like Dan Elder, was formerly with Matthews & Branscomb where he served as the Department Head of the firm's Business Department (1970 - 2004). John joined Cox Smith Matthews when the two firms combined in 2004 and continued as a shareholder of the firm until 2010. Both John and Dan are business lawyers who have counseled companies, business owners and investors throughout their careers. They have handled mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and provided general counsel services to many of the well known businesses located in and around San Antonio Texas. The firm is now focused on providing general counsel services to companies that do not have the benefit of an in-house staff. The firm works closely with several venture capital firms that are investing in early stage companies in the energy, healthcare, IT and communications industries.
