Daniel Farrell, LLC is a consulting firm specializing in art advisory services, valuation services and insurance claim work. The firm advises trust and estate managers, corporations, institutions and private individuals on the acquisition and disposition of fine art works, antiques, fine wines and many other categories of valued objects. As head of the consulting firm, Dan calls on a broad network of specialists with whom he has worked for over 19 years in his capacity as the originator and Consulting Producer of the PBS television series Antiques Roadshow. Services provided by the firm include art advisory services, appraisals and collection management. In addition, Daniel Farrell, LLC works extensively with major insurance carriers on claim related projects including loss and damage appraisals, conservation and restoration recommendations and diminution in value appraisals. Farrell holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has taken a number of formal courses in Appraisal Theory and Practice at the NYU Appraisal Studies Program as well at Christie's Education and is qualified as having taken and passed the requirements for certification under the Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal practice (USPAP).
