New York City Ballet is one of the foremost dance companies in the world, with a roster of spectacular dancers and an unparalleled repertory. The Company was founded in 1948 by George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein, and it quickly became world-renowned for its athletic and contemporary style. Jerome Robbins joined NYCB the following year and, with Balanchine, helped to build the astounding repertory and firmly establish the Company in New York.

The School of American Ballet, the official training academy of the New York City Ballet, was established in 1934 by legendary choreographer George Balanchine and philanthropist Lincoln Kirstein as the first and most essential step in their quest to create an American classical ballet company. SAB, located at New York City's Lincoln Center, is today the premier ballet academy in the United States, training more students who go on to become professional dancers than any other school. SAB's former students fill the ranks of the New York City Ballet and other leading U.S. and international ballet companies. SAB is the official academy of New York City Ballet.

Stage Door Dance Productions is reinventing the dance education and youth extracurricular model in Raleigh, NC. With a strong belief in age appropriate instruction and choreography, the studio uses technique, performance, community, and character to encourage dancers to "Be More At Stage Door!" Under the leadership of Founder/CEO, Chasta Hamilton, the studio features two locations, in Brier Creek and at Lake Boone Trail, as well as their unique Intensive Training Program and affiliated non-profit, Girls Geared For Greatness.
